Grease Converter
The MACTRAP Grease Converter is suitable for internal use and removes fats, oil and grease (FOG) from waste water by automatically adding bio-enzymes to remediate the waste.
After leaving the sink, the wastewater enters the Grease Converter, runs through two sets of baffles, and the FOG separates and forms a layer which floats to the top. ‘Bio-Zyme’, which contains bio-degradable micro organisms to break down the FOG, is automatically added to the converter and ‘feeds’ on the floating FOG solution. The resulting product is then consumed by natural bacteria, releasing safe by-products and reducing odour. Any suspended solids remaining in the water settle at the base of the converter and are cleaned out during the converter’s regular maintenance schedule.
The Stainless Steel Grease Converter and the Polymer Grease Converter are each available in two standard sizes.
The MACTRAP Grease Converter range has been independently tested and complies with NZBC G13.

POLYMER GREASE CONVERTER MTGC250P
This cost effective polymer grease converter can be used under bench or externally and is similar in performance to the GC250 model and typically suitable for kitchens with a single large wash sink.
POLYMER GREASE CONVERTER MTGC550P
This cost effective polymer grease converter is suitable for internal or external installation and typically suitable for kitchens with two or three large wash sinks or equivalent fixtures.
